Athletic Announce The Signings Of Eneko Delgado, Asier Grande, And Adrián Pérez
Eneko Delgado and Asier Grande will play with Basconia next season (AC)
CD Basconia have enjoyed an immensely success season under new coach Patxi Salinas. The Basauritarras finished the campaign 4th in the table and will compete in the promotional playoffs later this month. Regardless of the outcome, the squad will look much different next year as is usually the case. A number of players will be promoted to Bilbao Athletic while new faces will come into the squad.
A total of 13 players will be promoted from Juvenil A to Basconia next season as well as three new additions to the team. On Thursday Athletic officially announced the signings of Eneko Delgado, Asier Grande, and Adrián Pérez who have all joined the club after their contracts with their previous teams expired yesterday.
Delgado (19) is a left-footed midfielder who joins Athletic after spending the last three years with Real Madrid. Capable of playing anywhere in the center of the field, Delgado is exceptional with the ball at his feet and can create chances for others with his passing repertoire.
Pérez (19) is the son of former Athletic player Jon Andoni Pérez, better known as Bolo. The young center-backs comes from Danok Bat where he has been one of the most outstanding players in his age group over the past few years.
Grande (18) returns to the club after leaving Lezama back in 2014. Since then the right-back has spent four years with Danok Bat and the last two with Villarreal. Being one year younger than Delgado and Pérez, Grande is expected to spend two years with Basconia while the other two will be hoping to earn promotion to Bilbao Athletic in their second season at the club.
