Basconia Draw 1-1 With Laredo In Second Preseason Friendly
Basconia drew 1-1 at Lezama in the second friendly of the summer (AC)
Basconia hosted Laredo at Lezama on Saturday for the team’s second friendly of the preseason. After an impressive win over Balmaseda the Basauritarras were hoping for another great performance. Unfortunately, Basconia only managed to come away with a tight 1-1 draw.
Laredo opened up the scoring in the 7th minute with a goal from Álvaro García. It wasn’t the start Basconia wanted, but Xabi Naveira found the back of the net 30 minutes later to level the score before the break.
Neither side would be able to break the deadlock in the second half as the game finished in a draw. Basconia look strong early in the preseason and will play their third friendly on Wednesday in a trip to Aurrera Ondarroa.
