Dani Vivian Set To Join Mirandés On Loan

Dani Vivian will spend the season on loan with Mirandés (AC)

Dani Vivian has the potential to become a star at San Mamés. Since signing for CD Basconia back in 2016 the defender has become one of the most exciting young players at Athletic and now he’s ready to take the next step in his career after signing a renewal through 2023.

The 21-year-old has been included in the first team squad for preseason training but with Yeray, Unai Núñez, and Iñigo Martínez standing in his way, minutes will be hard to come by this year. With consistent playing time needed to continue his development, Vivian is set to spend the upcoming campaign away on loan.

Vivian will be joining Mirandés on loan for the upcoming season, per Juanma Mallo of El Correo. The two clubs are said to be finalizing an agreement following Vivian’s renewal which was necessary before a move as the defender previously had just one year left on his contract.

Spending the year with Mirandés will give Vivian the opportunity to play consistent minutes in the Segunda with the goal of earning a first team role next season. In addition, Vivian could have the chance to play alongside teammates Jesús Areso and Gaizka Larrazabal who have both been heavily linked with moves to Mirandés as well. For now, Dani Vivian is expected to start preseason training with Athletic before leaving on loan.
