After a somewhat slow start to life in the Segunda, Iñigo Vicente has finally found his rhythm while on loan with Mirandés. The 21-year-old has admitted in the past that it always takes him a while to adapt to a higher level of football but that period is now over as the Athletic starlet has quickly become one of the leagues most exciting players.

The past few matches have seen Vicente in exceptional form and the winger has been nominated as one of the three candidates to win the league’s Player Of The Month award for November. Vicente featured in all four games for Mirandés in November, making three starts, and scored three goals while also providing one assist.

Vicente’s excellent form has also helped bring better results for Mirandés who went undefeated during November with three wins and one draw. Whether or not El Mago, as he was nicknamed at Lezama, wins the award remains to be seen but even being nominated is a great honor and recognition for fantastic performances and hard work. Iñigo Vicente will be competing against Girona’s Cristhian Stuani and Elche’s Fidel Chaves for the award.
